Behind the art

This print was originally designed for the 2021 Conspiracy Relief Postcard Exchange. The cicada design was inspired by a dear friend in France who sent me a ceramic cicada for my birthday along with a story about her region’s love for them, and their songs during the summer.

This design is currently on its 2nd edition, the difference from the 1st being the 'sun' is smaller.
